Ms. Catherine Brown, Managing Partner, has substantive experience in all areas of immigration law as well as a solid background in international business. During law school, she obtained a clerkship with the Denver Immigration Court dealing with deportation issues. After graduating in the top of her class at the University of Denver College of Law, she secured a one-year clerkship with the Colorado Court of Appeals. She then practiced all aspects of immigration law with Stern & Elkind, LLP in Denver, Colorado.

Her practice primarily has focused on business immigration, especially those in the science, healthcare, and technology industries, but she also has managed many other types of cases, including artists, athletes, Special Registration, family-related cases (one-steps, immediate relatives, special immigrant juveniles), asylum, nationality and citizenship cases. In addition, Ms. Brown has extensive experience with matters appealed to the BIA and the AAO.

Ms. Brown is a member of the national and the Colorado chapter of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association (AILA), the Colorado Bar Association, and the Colorado Women's Bar Association. She is a participating member on the Colorado Unaccompanied Minors Taskforce Committee. She has been admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts, and nationwide in front of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security entities, primarily the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) and Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Court), and in front of the Department of Labor entities.
